CEnR spans a continuum from outreach to community led or shared leadership. Depending on a number of factors (timeline, budget, capacity, priority alignment, flexibility, history, etc.) a project will be suited for a certain level of engagement. Based on the level of engagement, various methods, structures and approaches can be explored. Below you will find examples of projects, methods, structures and strategies across the continuum of engagement. Every project's engagement planning is unique and should reflect approaches that center CEnR principles. We strive to help researchers and communities move up the spectrum of engagement as they grow longer term community academic partnerships.
